We do all the work for you. We submit the council paperwork, perform the soil tests, organise sub-contractors and we make your dream a reality.

The hardest job you have is deciding how you want your home designed…
but that’s made easier with our qualified designers and interior design consultants ready and waiting to help at every step of the way.

“Welcome to your new Freedom Home”

You will receive a fully detailed and written quotation and detailed concept plans of the proposed home.

In the quotation costs are clearly identified, including those relating to personal selections and tastes (for example, your choice of kitchen and Prime Cost items.)

Once you are happy with the quotation, a deposit is made to move onto the next step.

We then have your plans drawn by our draftsperson and when they are correct and you are absolutely happy, your plans and specifications are then ready to be submitted for council and building approval.

Now comes exciting part! Selecting the finishing materials of your home, for example. bricks, roof colour, window colour, gutter, fascia and downpipe colours.

Selection also includes internal items such as your kitchen benches, cupboards and appliances, tiles, paint colour, taps, right down to the door handles.

And remember… our experienced in-house colour consultant is always available to assist you.

We use a very detailed, plain English specification which covers your project requirements for every aspect, ensuring quality and a complete level of understanding at every stage of the project.

It’s getting close now!! We’re about ready to start building your dream home.

At this stage you and Freedom Homes complete a Housing Industry Association plain English Building Agreement.

The agreement consists of an updated final fixed tender amount, council stamped plans, specifications and council approval conditions.

If you are going through a financial institution to build your home, you must show them this agreement.

When we receive an Authority to Commence Construction letter from them, we begin building your home.

Progress payments are requested at milestones of the construction stage.

These are clearly stated in your individual plain English HIA contract.

These payments are authorised by you or your financial institution.

Finally, we issue you with a “Certificate of Practical Completion” and you make the final payment on your newly completed Freedom House which is ready to become your new Freedom Home. Enjoy!!

A warranty of 13 week defects Liability Period, plus assurance that Freedom is always there after the build to ensure best customer satisfaction and service.
